Application
The disc magnetic separator for fine-grained tailings recovery is mainly used to recover magnetic iron in fine-grained (-200 mesh) magnetic tailings.
Working Principle
The disc magnetic separator uses permanent magnet materials to form a composite magnetic system. The magnetic system is divided into strong magnetic area, medium magnetic area and weak magnetic area. The polarity of the magnetic poles alternates radially to form a sector-shaped magnetic system.There is a rotatable shell outside the magnetic system, and the magnetic system is fixed.Part of the shell is immersed in the slurry, and the strong magnetic area sandwiched between the magnetic wedges continuously absorbs theiron concentrate in the fine-grained tailings with the support of a greatly increased field strength. As the shell rotates, the magnetic wedge installed in the middle magnetic zone plays a transitional role in transferring the iron powder, making the iron powder transfer smoother.In the weak magnetic zone, the magnetic field is gradually reduced and the area of the magnetic system is gradually reduced to narrow the magnetic circuit and gradually weaken the field strength, so that the ore unloading can reach the best state.As the disc shell rotates, the fine iron powder is guided and merged by the magnetic circuit, and gradually concentrated, finally achieving the purpose of automatic unloading.
