5.5T liquid helium zero-volatile low-temperature superconducting magnetic separator
Scope of application: Because of the high field strength, it can sort minerals with weak magnetic properties and very fine particles, especially non-metallic minerals, such as kaolin, potassium albite, and quartz. It can also be used in sewage treatment and seawater purification.
Main technical features:
◆The background magnetic field strength is high. The low-temperature superconducting magnetic separator adopts a coil made of Nb-Ti superconducting material, and the magnetic field strength reaches 5.5T. The field strength of the normal permeability magnet is generally less than 2T, and the low-temperature superconducting magnetic separator is 2 to 5 times that.
◆The magnetic field is large. Under the background field strength of 5.5T, the surface of the magnetic conductive medium in the sorting cavity produces a very large magnetic force, which can effectively separate weak magnetic impurities, greatly improve the quality of non-metallic minerals, and meet the requirements of high-end products.
◆There is zero volatilization of liquid helium. The 1.5W/4.2K refrigerator can provide continuous cooling, so that the liquid helium does not volatilize to the outside of the magnet, ensuring that the total amount of liquid helium remains unchanged. There is no need to replenish liquid helium within 3 years, reducing maintenance costs.
◆Low energy consumption. The superconducting magnetic separator adopts low temperature superconducting technology. After the coil reaches the superconducting state, the resistance is zero. After the coil is excited once, the power is cut off. The current in the coil forms a closed loop without consuming electric energy. Only the refrigerator that maintains the low temperature state of the magnet works, which saves 90% of electricity compared with the normal permeability magnet.
